[ A letter is delivered shortly after this network post goes live. This could have been a text or a telepathic check-in, but Charles obviously thought this merited a bit of pomp and ceremony: the letter is exquiste stationary, thick paper, blue wax seal, and Charles' own elegant cursive. ]
Dear Raven,
As we find ourselves stranded in this bizarre world, Erik and I have come to an agreement. You may not know this, but in his future, he was responsible for building an island nation for mutants called Genosha -- it was a place of peace, separate from humans, given to mutants by the government. We both found ourselves with little to do here, and so, wanting to continue some semblance of what we had built in our own world, we decided to build something like that here: a farm, but also a training grounds, a safe haven, and a place of teaching for those who need it.
It goes without saying that I would welcome your experience and your presence, in whatever capacity you would like to contribute -- whether farming, teaching, or training.
I know it must be strange to see Erik and I united, but we have talked extensively, and I believe we are on the same page. He is a very different man than the one of our time, and I find myself reaching toward him philosophically more and more.
Please, feel free to respond to this via Leaf, letter, or telepathically.
