Oh it was an irate woman looking for Scott. Which as things went wasn't that out of place in Alex's doorstep. It was the fact she was looking for Scott not Alex. That's what threw things out of place considerably. It was also one of the neighbours Alex recognised. Which made it somehow worse. So much so he was tempted to tell her where Scotty was and just sit back and watch the fireworks. But he hadn't. Alex had denied knowledge of everything (which had been true before he'd heard what happened from her) and gone to the one place he knew he could go safely. Back to the mansion. Where he could also plot his brother's demise.
"I might have to move." He took a step closer to her. "Or get rid of my brother. Whichever is less complicated." He made a face and then looked slightly apologetic. His mess could be left at the door. "Well if say I do have to hide for a while I might as well have good company and not have to talk about it." He frowned a little, hesitant about going any further into her room. "You still want to do this?" He hoped it wasn't already a mess. Well, more than his life could be.
